The South African tourism and hospitality industries are booming – on both domestic and international levels. South Africans are exploring their country more than ever and the international market continues to grow – especially with the promise of 2010 on the horizon. Our hospitality industry knows that it needs to prepare itself so that it can be ready and waiting, and Hostex 2008 aims to enable industry members to do just this.

With 250 exhibitors covering 10 000m² in floor space, the 2008 show takes place at the Cape Town Convention Centre

The SA Chefs Association will be heavily involved once again demonstrating their culinary skills and cooking talents, and Home Grown will also form part of Hostex 2008, as will 2005’s new addition, Guestex – a section dedicated exclusively to suppliers to the smaller guesthouse and B&B sector (the fastest-growing sector in SA’s tourism industry).
