Highlights: The French Finance Association (AFFI) will hold its year 2008 Annual Meeting in Lille from May 20 to May 22, 2008. The conference will be jointly organized by the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires of the University of Lille 2 and the Groupe ESC-Lille, with the support of the Pôle de Recherche en Finance.

Topics

Two topics will be emphasized for this 2008 edition of the French Finance Association Annual Congress: financial intermediation and mergers and acquisitions. Priority will be given to papers submitted in these areas. A special workshop will also be organized on May 20pm dedicated to PhD students.
Papers in other fields of finance are also welcome. These fields include: asset pricing, behavioural finance, corporate finance, corporate governance, derivatives, emerging markets, financial institutions, finance theory, market microstructure, mathematical finance, financial econometrics, real estate finance and other papers of general interest.
