Andrology is a dynamic field with important successes in its recent history and even greater expectations for the future. It is a discipline of great significance, since, along with the closely related specialty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, they constitute the dipole of Reproductive Medicine, the Medicine of the 21st century, which aims to explain the mechanism of the creation of new life and the secrets of fertility, which remains the only way to maintain life on the long term. It is without doubt an appealing field for doctors regardless of their age, full of difficulties, but also the satisfaction of genuine offer to the ailing human, whether this refers to a child with puberty associated disorders, an infertile male or, finally, an aging man. The Hellenic Society of Andrology, the coordinating scientific organization for the promotion of Andrology in Greece organizes for yet another year the Panhellenic Congress of Andrology, with the hope that it will once again prove to be a summoning opportunity for scientists from all disciplines related to Reproductive Health. The participation of colleagues from three historic University Medical School of Greece in the Organizing Committee (i.e. Athens, Thessaloniki and Ioannina) is an additional lucky coincidence that will hopefully contribute towards a successful pluralistic Congress.
