Three day program offers insight into maximizing the latest optical sensing technologies for applications in education, scientific research, and industry

Ocean Optics is providing the opportunity for optical sensing professionals in education, research and industry to come together and learn the latest applied methods during its Customer Forum 2008, May 12-14. The program provides an inside look into Ocean Optics products, services, and breakthrough technologies as well as access to the pioneers and foremost minds in optical sensing technology. The Clearwater Beach, Fla. location is an ideal setting to conduct field experiments in addition to the schedule of educational sessions, workshops, and roundtables.

The program kicks off with an optional pre-forum boot camp for those new to the industry, providing a comprehensive introduction to the world of photonics. Forum sessions range from basic product orientations to industry and application specific classes and hands-on labs. Participants can mix and match classes to follow the learning track best suited to them. Roundtable discussions will provide a forum for even more in-depth discussion of specific application needs.
