STORI conferences started as a Symposium on Nuclear Physics at Storage Rings in 1991 (Lund, Chair: Bo Jakobsson) and 1994 (St. Petersburg, Oleg Lozhkin), and - after being renamed - took place in 1996 (Bernkastel-Kues, Fritz Bosch, Peter Egelhof), in 1999 (Bloomington, Hans-Otto Meyer), in 2002 (Uppsala, Curt Ekström), and in 2005(Jülich-Bonn, Hans Ströher).
The aim of the meeting is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of all aspects of nuclear physics at storage rings with possible extensions to adjacent fields such as atomic and elementary particle physics. - full details
